Objective: Verification of the contents of a blister pack.
Solution:
BVS Sharpshooter was installed on packaging line to inspect pill presence and shape conformance. If a pill or a partial pill was not inserted into blister package the vision sensor will detect the nonconformance and signal an alarm to reject the defected package. The presence of the pills and their shape was verified using a single Pattern Match tool.
Pass: All pills are present in package and correct shape
Fail: Missing pill
Recommended sensor: BVS-E standard
