Analog Capacitive Sensors
Capacitive analog sensors are perfect for product thickness monitoring and measurement, or material selection applications in situations where similar objects are of different materials. They also are suitable in applications where surface variations must be identified.
Balluff’s M18 highly linear capacitive analog sensor detects surface variation or objects of any material within a maximum range of 8 mm. Changes in the object’s color or surface texture have no effect on measurement accuracy. The sensing heads are made of stainless steel with PTFE sensing faces.
