Balluff's Micropulse® AR in-cylinder position feedback sensor is designed to withstand the rigors of Micropulse AR Embeddable Transducer demanding mobile equipment applications such as on agricultural, construction, and rail maintenance equipment. The Micropulse AR is designed to be fully enclosed in a hydraulic cylinder for maximum protection from wear, vibration, stress, and other environmental hazards. In addition, it meets or exceeds the strict EMC directives for off-highway equipment. Its compact size and robust design also make it ideal for demanding industrial applications.

The Micropulse AR is ideal for rugged applications such as log debarking. In a typical debarking operation, hydraulic cylinders are used to precisely position the debarking wheels for the fastest possible throughput. Reliable cylinder position feedback allows control of both position and pressure. The Micropulse AR’s compact housing allows it be completely embedded into the hydraulic cylinder where it is protected against damage. In order to increase productivity, users of mobile equipment are demanding accurate, reliable cylinder position sensors. The Micropulse AR was designed to meet the need for accurate, dependable, cost-effective continuous position feedback in mobile hydraulic cylinders. The small housing size of the Micropulse AR allows the sensor to be completely embedded in the cylinder, providing maximum environmental protection.
